FAQs

Where are you located?

We are located in The Woodlands, Texas, but also provide online coaching services for clients across the nation.

Who is neurodivergent?

Someone who is neurodivergent behaves, thinks, and learns differently compared to those who are neurotypical. This can include autistic people, ADHDers, as well as those with dyslexia and other conditions.

How are your services different from others?

We believe that autistic individuals, as well as other neurodivergent individuals, have unique strengths and differences that should be celebrated. That is why we utilize a neurodiversity affirming approach.

What is the neurodiversity affirming approach to services?

Mental health professionals who practice neurodivergent affirming therapy work to understand the unique challenges that neurodivergent individuals may face and to foster their innate strengths. They strive to validate neurodivergent people’s experiences, and encourage them to embrace their differences.

Why do you believe in the neurodiversity affirming approach?

Being treated differently by others for being autistic or having ADHD can have a negative impact on a child's mental health. In fact, the suicide rate in the autistic population is at least twice that of the general population. We have seen how a child's sense of self can be positively impacted when their differences are accepted and celebrated by those near them. We want to be a part of helping our children grow into successful adults who contribute positively to our society. We want to be a part of the enriching soil that they need to bloom.

Can you work with my child?

Our services are designed for children who are gifted learners or are highly verbal.

What ages do you work with?

We currently work with people ages 5-25 years.

How does it work? What do I have to do in sessions?

We offer a range of services. Some services are provided in an individual format, while others are completed in a group format. Visit our Services page here to learn more.

How long will it take?

Unfortunately, this is not possible to say in a general FAQs page. Everyone’s circumstances are unique to them and the length of time therapy can take to allow you to accomplish your goals depends on your desire for personal development, your commitment, and the factors that are driving you to seek services in the first place.
